8. Encourage Gratitude
A little appreciation goes a long way. Encourage the graduate to personally greet guests, thank them for coming, and, if applicable, for gifts. Providing a small thank-you note or token of appreciation afterward reinforces gratitude. Polite acknowledgment of attendance and support makes guests feel valued and strengthens relationships.
